Position: Race Director

Location: Applicant should be near White Rock, BC but other locations will be considered.
Responsibilities and duties:
Overall race management and operations including logistics, community relations, rider safety, rider signage, pre-race on-site registration and race officiating. Also responsible for management of media relations, liaison with police agencies, local and provincial government agencies, route review and rider recruitment. Additionally the Tour of BC race director will manage the performance of the BC Explorer and BC Contender race directors.

Position: Advertising & Sponsorship Sales
Location: Applicant should be near White Rock, BC but other locations will be considered.
Responsibilities and duties:

Sales and marketing of online and on site advertising packages for both local and national customers. Sales of sponsorship packages will also involve continual liaison with sponsors to assure quality control.

Position: Rider Registration Sales

Location: Applicants are sought worldwide to work within their geographic areas and specific demographics such as colleges or corporate team registrations.
Responsibilities and duties: Registering riders for all events.

Position: Director of Social Media Marketing
Location: Applicant should be near White Rock, BC but all locations (including international) will be considered.
Responsibilities and duties:  The development and implement of all social media marketing strategies.

Position: Community Public Relations
Location: Numerous locations around BC and Alberta.
Responsibilities and duties:

Community public relations representatives will work within their local area to locate sponsors and media outlets. Sales work involves selling low cost sponsorship and advertising for race website and racer route books (especially valuable to those business that provide services sought by race teams) and in areas large enough for printed event programs.

Responsibilities also include accessing, recommending and procuring key locations for rider checkpoints*. Community public relations representatives will recruitment of local volunteers for time stations, race officials and volunteer/amateur media members including photographers, videographers, reporters and journalists.

*Rider checkpoints are either manned by local volunteers or operate unmanned. Rider’s support crew is required to phone in progress report to race control center from each time station.

Position: Webmaster
Location: Applicant should be near White Rock, BC but all locations (including international) will be considered.
Responsibilities and duties: All website development including numerous interactive features, live race reporting, security and secured storefront.

Position: Graphic Artist
Location: Applicant should be near White Rock, BC but all locations (including international) will be considered.
Responsibilities and duties: Works with webmaster to produce overall appearance of our websites and additionally creates advertising material and designs for swag such as T-shirts, hats, cycling jerseys, etc.
